“A DYEING ART” – WEAVING CHAIRS WITH SHAKER TAPE & DYED REED

Add a splash of color to your chairs with dyed rattan reed or colorful Shaker tape seats. Beginners can learn to weave herringbone and checkerboard, while intermediate students can learn diamond, chevron, or X patterns. Chairs should have four seat rails – bring one or two, in good repair & surface finished prior to class. (Chairs can be provided with advanced notice to the instructor.) Also contact her for color choices and give seat dimensions. Moderate hand strength is needed.
